How to calculate the internal marks for Anna University?
Anna University internal marks are very important to get high credit in the university exams the minimum mark to be obtained in the internals was 14 marks out of 20 marks. In that 20 marks in the 5 Marks will be given to the Attendance and remaining 15 marks will be given to the Academic Performance (Unit Test, Internal Test, Cycle Test, and Model Exam). As this time there were lots of constrains and lots of rules and regulations about the examinations and internal Marks. As this time Anna University is taking care of the internal marks of each student so here is the mark out 20 for each subject. Anna University mark calculator helps engineering students to calculate their internal marks in an automated way. As we are engineering students, we know the value of marks and how they affect the total marks and grades. So, we have simplified calculations for users to calculate the internal marks instantly and upgrade their studies. This marks calculator helps every engineering student and please share this service to your friends. The questions are taken by college departments and they conduct and evaluate within the college. This marks, are more important for a candidate, which will be added up in their semester marks
ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE
MARKS
<75 %
0 MARK
76-80%
1 MARK
81-85%
2 MARK
86-90%
3 MARK
91-95%
4 MARK
96-100%
5 MARK

Here we provide you the following example to show how to calculate the Attendance Percentage and Internal mark for Attendance percentage

ATTENDANCE PERIOD FOR SINGLE SUBJECT
TOTAL PERIODS
ATTENDED PERIOD
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT 1
20
18
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT 2
24
22
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT 3
32
30
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT 4
36
31
TOTAL
20+24+32+36=112
18+22+30+31=101
ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE
(ATTENDED PERIOD/TOTAL PERIOD)*100 & (101/112)*100= 90.1
INTERNAL MARK
4 MARK(90.1)

Now let us see how to calculate the Internal marks for the academic performance out of 15

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT TEST FOR SINGLE SUBJECT
OBTAINED MARKS(OUT OF 100)
INTERNAL MARK CONVERSION (OUT OF 5) (OBTAINED MARK/100)*5)
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT TEST 1
85
(85/100)*5 = 4.25=4
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT TEST 2
90
(90/100)*5 = 4.5=5
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT TEST 3
80
(80/100)*5 = 4.0
TOTAL INTERNAL MARK
4+5+4=13

As discussed above by calculating the sum of Attendance Percentage and academic performance (internal assessment test marks) we can obtain the Internal mark Overall Internal Mark = Internal Mark for Attendance Percentage + Internal Mark for Academic Performance INTERNAL MARK= 4+13 = 17, Therefore the Internal Mark is 17 out of 20
